What is a SPC Flooring?
SPC, an abbreviation for Stone Plastic Composite, boasts a unique core composition of approximately 60% to 75% calcium carbonate (limestone), polyvinyl chloride, and plasticizers. The combination results in a thin, yet exceptionally dense, core.
SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) Rigid core click vinyl flooring. With an ultra stable core, authentic designs and textures as well as having a built in underlay, being 100% waterproof flooring and an easy DIY friendly click system, makes this flooring one of the best and most versatile floor coverings available.
EASY INSTALLATION ON UNEVEN SURFACES
As it is rigid material, it is forgiving of any unevenness in the subfloor. Other softer vinyl materials can become warped during installation by any cracks, stones or joints that may be in the subfloor. The click system enables rapid installation without the need for any special tools or adhesives.
COMFORT, SUITABLE FOR UNDERFLOOR HEATING AND SOUND INSULATION
The sound insulation layer considerably reduces the noise of people walking on the floor, by up to 21 dB.
In addition, the surface is pleasant to the touch and allows for the installation of underfloor heating, providing more warmth.
